What You’ll Need:

• 1 15-ounce box vanilla cake mix (any brand of cake mix works!)
• 2 eggs
• ½ cup vegetable oil
• 2 drops of green food coloring (We used a gel color for a vibrant color)
• ½ cup red and green M&Ms
• ½ cup white chocolate chips
• Extra M&Ms and white chocolate chips to decorate

How to Make Grinch Cookies with Cake Mix

1. Start by mixing together the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil in a large bowl. Combine with a hand or stand mixer on medium speed.
2. Then add in your green drops of food coloring and beat until well mixed.
3. Stir in the green and red M&Ms and chocolate chips.
4. Cover and let the cookie dough chill in the fridge at least 30 minutes.
5. When you’re ready to finish your cookies, preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
6. Using a cookie scooper, small ice cream scoop, or tablespoon scoop out the dough evenly. Roll the scoop of dough into a ball and place it on the lined baking sheet.
7. You can decorate each ball of dough with additional candy and chocolate chips now if you want.
8. Bake the cookies for 10 to 15 minutes, until the edges of the cookies are slightly brown.
9. Allow the cookies to cool on the cookie sheet for five minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
