Myrtle E. Armour Myrtle E. Armour, 224 W. Butler St., Mercer, died unexpectedly at 10 p.m. Thursday (9-18-97) in United Community Hospital, Pine Township, of natural causes. She was 75.

Chester G. Doersch

Ham radio operator was millwright at Sharon Steel

Chester G. Doersch, 531 McCleary St., Sharon, died at 12:33 p.m. Wednesday (9-17-97) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 87.

Mr. Doersch was born Dec. 25, 1909, in Watertown, S.D., to Julius and Ida Heckman Doersch.

He was a 1928 graduate of Cabin Creek High School, East Bank, W.Va. He attended Ohio State University, Columbus.

He retired in 1973 after 24 years as a millwright from Sharon Steel Corp.'s former Farrell plant.

Mr. Doersch was a member of ``HAM'' Radio Operators of Mercer County.

His wife, Laura, whom he married May 28, 1931, died Dec. 30, 1996.

Surviving are: a son, Kirt D., Palmyra, Va.

; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Shirley) Aeck, Capitola, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Earl; and a grandson, Mark.

Maxine Lenore Ehrenfeld

SRHS retiree was member of country music association

Funeral will be Monday for Maxine Lenore Ehrenfeld, 52 S. Mercer Ave., Sharpsville. She died at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday (9-17-97) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. She was 64.

Mrs. Ehrenfeld was born Nov. 11, 1932, in Sharpsville to Herbert E. and Kathryn

Curty Victor.

She was a graduate of Vernon (Ohio) High School.

Retiring in 1994, Mrs. Ehrenfeld was employed by Sharon Regional Health System.

She attended Sts. Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sharon.

A country music enthusiast, Mrs. Ehrenfeld was a member of the Tri-State Country Music Association.

Surviving is a sister, E. Leona Carucci

, Hermitage.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, William, Herbert and Ronald Victor; and a sister Barbara L. Batcher.

Robert D. Kramerich

Ex-Wheatland man retired as San Francisco hairdresser

SAN FRANCISCO _ Robert D. Kramerich, 87 Vicksburg St., San Francisco, formerly of the Shenango Valley, died Sept. 7 (6-7-97) at home after an apparent heart attack. He was 66.

Mr. Kramerich was born June 30, 1931, in Aliquippa, Pa., to George L. and Mary Vitkovich

Kramerich.

He grew up in Wheatland and was a 1949 Farrell High School alumnus.

An Army veteran, Mr. Kramerich served during the Korean Conflict.

Before retiring, he worked many years as a hairdresser in San Francisco.

He was a member of Church of the Holy Redeemer, San Francisco.

Surviving are: his mother, Hermitage; a sister Mrs. John (Dorothy) Nestor, Hermitage; and a brother, Dr. George Kramerich, Cleveland.

Burial was in Morefield Cemetery, Hermitage.

Emma Mae Lary

Former Mercer resident was cook in area restaurants

FORT WORTH, Texas _ Emma Mae Lary, Arlington, Texas, formerly of Mercer County, died of natural causes at 2 a.m. Tuesday (9-16-97) in All Saints Episcopal Hospital. She was 77.

Mrs. Lary was born April 3, 1920, in Sharpsville to Henry Guy and Florence M. Rankin Caswell.

A retiree of Mercer County Living Center, Coolspring Township, she was a cook in several Mercer County area restaurants.

Mrs. Lary was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6345, Mercer.

Her former husband, Robert Forrester, whom she married Dec. 23, 1938, died Jan. 11, 1985.

Surviving are: her second husband, Jack W. Lary, whom she married May 22, 1982, at home; three sons, William Forrester, Mercer; David Forrester, Fort Worth, Texas; and George Forrester, Berea, Ky.; three daughters, Roberta Black, Rio Vista, Texas; Florence Bowman, Lancaster, Texas; and Mary Esther

Ciavarella, Mineral Ridge, Ohio; two brothers, Walter Caswell, Ormond Beach, Fla.; and Fred Caswell, Greenville; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her first husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James Forrester; two brothers, Carl and Paul Caswell; and two sisters, Ruth Loftus

and a twin, Catherine Woods.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday (9-19-97) in Tate Springs Baptist Church, 4201 Little Road, Arlington, Texas.

Albert R. Lengel

Dairy farm owner was in Army Corps of Engineers

Albert R. Lengel, 1346 Mercer-Grove City Road, Findley Township, died at 7:45 a.m. Thursday (9-18-97) at home after an extended illness. He was 67.

Mr. Lengel was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Parkman, Ohio, to Stephen

and Rose Geressy Lengel.

He was a graduate of Mercer High School.

Mr. Lengel was a lieutenant in the Army Corps of Engineers.

He was owner of Lengel Dairy Farm, Mercer-Grove City Road.

Mr. Lengel was a Protestant.

He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1637, Mercer; and Pleasant Valley Grange.

A committee member for over 27 years, Mr. Lengel served with the Mercer County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service.

Surviving are: two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Elizabeth) Kuehnule
